Faith That Removes Mountains

(Mark 11:23) "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." Over a hundred years ago, the great evangelist Dr. R. A. Torrey told the story of one little church in Maine that was dead spiritually. In fact, most of the churches in that town were pretty dead, but in this one particular church a few of its godly men decided to petition God for a miracle, and so they said, "here we are, uneducated laymen, but let us form a praying band, and center our prayers on the salvation of one man." So, they decided on one of the hardest men in town, a hopeless drunkard, and centered their prayers on him. To their amazement in just a week this man was converted. Seeing therefore the impossible become possible, they began to pray for another, and then another, until within a year between two and three hundred people were brought to Christ, for the fire that was kindled in the hearts of those few men spread out into the surrounding country like wildfire. Why? Because someone dared to take God at His Word. One of the reasons we don't see miracles today, is not because God has stopped doing them, but rather because we have stopped asking and believing God for the impossible. Even today faith can still remove mountains!

( Gen 41:41-43) “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt... Glory To Jesus In The Highest

(Luke 2:13-14) “ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest , and on earth peace, good will toward men.”  Again, we read above about the great proclamation of Heaven’s Angels the night of Jesus’ birth, and how they began to sing “Glory to God in the highest.” So, what did the angels mean by this statement . 48 times in the Bible God uses the phrase, “The Most High,” to describe not just the dwelling place of God, but also the Glory that should be ascribed to Him and His Son Jesus 1) Jesus was the Glory that came down from the Highest Heaven . Prayer Should Include Praise Also

“Matt. 6:13) “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” The above verse is the ending words of Jesus’s example on of how to pray. In the Lord’s prayer we are first taught to honor and glorify the Father and His Holy Name or (His Person). Then we are commanded to seek His will or (His Purpose) in life. After which, Jesus taught us to (Petition) him for our needs or “ daily bread,”   as well as “forgiveness” and “deliverance from evil” when tested, but there is also another aspect of this prayer that most people miss; and that is (His Praise). You see the temptation to do sin or “evil” is as much a part of our daily life as breathing.
