(Rom. 11:7-8) “What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.” There are some that believe that Israel as a people have been cursed and rejected by God, and that they have no hope of restoration; but is that what the Bible teaches ? Israel as a nation has been set aside temporarily because of their unbelief of Christ as a nation, but individually they can be saved if they place their faith in Jesus Christ, just like anyone else. The only difference between a Gentile and a Jew is that God has placed upon Israel a judgment of spiritual blindness.
